The Fourteenth Annual Central States Conference will be hosted by the St. Louis Chapter at the Chase Park Plaza Hotel on April 3 – 5th 2019. The theme for the conference is CONNECT: Past + Present + Future, which will be the foundation of the speakers and educational sessions.
The 2019 Central States Conference proudly announces the following keynote speakers:
David Rubin, FASLA, FAAR David is the founding principal of DAVID RUBIN Land Collective, a landscape architecture and urban design studio committed to practicing with an emphasis on socially-purposeful design strategies. David founded Land Collective to devote himself to crafting landscapes that affect positive social change through empathy-driven design.
Gregory Miller, FASLA Gregory is a principal with the firm MRWM Landscape Architects in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He has developed a design philosophy that integrates sustainable development trends with site specific ecological and human needs. Greg is currently the Immediate Past-President of the American Society of Landscape Architects.

The conference schedule is currently on the website, so please take a look. The conference will start with a welcome reception on Wednesday evening at the Chase Park Plaza rooftop ballroom. Thursday will consist of educational sessions and time to visit with exhibitors in the EXPO along with the David Rubin as the keynote speaker during lunch. A highlight of the conference will be a visit the St. Louis icon, the Gateway Arch National Park. Transportation will be provided. The schedule for Friday will consist of continued educational sessions along with visiting with exhibitors. The annual Central States awards ceremonies will take place on Friday afternoon in which Gregory Miller, immediate Past-President of ASLA will join us.
